Rotax Distributors, MRP/GoRotax.com & SRA Karting team up to provide additional technical support for all Rotax customers at this weekend's Florida Winter Tour event at Palm Beach Int'l Raceway.
 
To this effect, MRP/GoRotax.com has partnered with SRA Karting, Canadian distributor for Rotax to bring Darrell Smith over for this weekend's Florida Winter Tour event at Palm Beach International Raceway. This is an effort to provide even stronger customer support and confidence in the Rotax program.
 

"This is a program that we hope picks up a lot of steam for this year as Darrell is a wealth of knowledge and an amazing resource on Rotax and their entire product line." said Garry Lobaugh, President of MRP Motorsport. Darrell will be on-hand for the duration of the Florida Winter Tour Rotax event this weekend at Palm Beach International Raceway spanning Thursday, February 18 through Sunday, February 21, providing technical and tuning support alongside both the MRP/GoRotax.com and SRA Karting technical teams. He will also be available for additional events for future events if consumer demand warrants.
 
About Darrell Smith :
Since 2003 Darrell has been Test & Development Driver, testing all karting products that BRP-Rotax has produced. Since 2004, Darrell routinely logs 12,000km a year in testing and in 2007 completed an astounding 17,000km - testing everything from chassis, engines, engine components, MOJO tires, etc.
 
His role as test driver specifically in the range of research & development has been important for Darrell as he provides technical training for distributors and routinely assists drivers and mechanics at various Rotax Max Challenge events around the world.
