New Clutch & Balance Gears - NOW AVAILABLE!

rmax-clutch-fr125-retrofit.jpgGoRotax.com and associated dealers now have the all new centrifugal FR125 and DD2 clutch and balance shaft retrofit kits available and in-stock. The clutches are redesigned to improve durability, reduce maintenance costs and reduce rotating mass. The new gears are made of steel to make them longer lasting than the plastic gears they replace. NOTE: These clutches and gears are designed to be used together as the new clutch increases the load put on the gears reducing the life of the plastic gears.

 

Retrofit kits are available for both the FR125 engine (for Rotax Jr., Rotax Sr. and Rotax Masters classes) as well as DD2 engines. Individual parts will also be available by December 15, 2008.

TECHNICAL NOTES:

- Use the new clutch and new balance shaft gears together for best results.

- It is mandatory to use double the amount of gearbox oil with the steel gears (100 cm3 instead of 50 cm3 as indicated by engine cover)
